Refund Policy

By using Govaio Network services, you agree to our terms, policies, and acceptable use rules. Services may be modified or terminated for violations.

Effective Date: 26/01/2026.

This Refund Policy governs all purchases made from Govaio Network (“Govaio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via https://www.govaio.com and applies to all services unless otherwise stated in writing.

By purchasing any service from Govaio, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. GENERAL REFUND TERMS

1.1 All services are provided on a prepaid basis.

1.2 Refunds are processed only if explicitly stated in this policy or on the product page.

1.3 Refunds are not automatic and must be requested within the applicable eligibility period.

1.4 Any violation of Govaio policies voids all refund rights.

2. ELIGIBLE SERVICES FOR REFUND

2.1 Hosting Services

The following hosting services may be eligible for refunds:

  • Shared Hosting

  • Business Hosting

  • Reseller Hosting

✔ Eligible for refund within 30 days (as mentioned on the plan page), starting from the date of service activation.

The refund window applies only to first-time purchases of a hosting service.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES

The following services are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Domain registrations

  • Domain renewals

  • Domain transfers

  • Premium domains

  • SSL certificates

  • VPS servers

  • Dedicated servers

  • Cloud servers

  • Setup fees

  • Add-ons and licenses

  • One-time services

  • Third-party services

Once provisioned, these services cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. DOMAIN NAME REFUNDS

4.1 Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are governed by registry and ICANN rules.

4.2 Once a domain is registered or transferred, no refund is possible, even if unused or deleted.

4.3 Failed domain registrations (due to availability issues) may be refunded or credited at Govaio’s discretion.

5. VPS, DEDICATED & CLOUD SERVICES

5.1 VPS, Dedicated Servers, and Cloud Services are non-refundable.

5.2 Early cancellation does not entitle the customer to a partial or prorated refund.

5.3 Resource abuse or policy violation results in immediate termination with no refund.

6. PAYMENT METHOD & PROCESSING

6.1 Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

6.2 Refund processing time:

  • 7–10 business days (depending on payment gateway or bank)

6.3 Transaction fees, gateway charges, or taxes are non-refundable.

7. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

7.1 Refund requests must be submitted via:

8. ABUSE, FRAUD & TERMINATION

8.1 No refunds will be issued if services are terminated due to:

  • Acceptable Use Policy violations

  • Spam or abuse complaints

  • Illegal activity

  • Fraud or chargebacks

8.2 Chargeback abuse may result in:

  • Account suspension

  • Permanent service ban

  • Legal action (if applicable)

9. PROMOTIONAL & DISCOUNTED PLANS

9.1 Services purchased under promotions, coupons, or special offers may be non-refundable.

9.2 Promotional terms override this Refund Policy if explicitly stated.

10. RENEWALS & UPGRADES

10.1 Renewals are non-refundable once processed.

10.2 Upgrades may result in a pro-rated charge, but no refunds for downgrades.

11. SERVICE SUSPENSION & DATA LOSS

11.1 Refunds are not issued for:

  • Service suspensions

  • Account terminations

  • Data loss due to policy violations

11.2 Customers are responsible for backups prior to cancellation.

12. TAXES & FEES

12.1 Applicable taxes (GST, VAT, etc.) are non-refundable.

12.2 Currency conversion charges are non-refundable.

13. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Govaio reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon publication.
