This Domain Name Policy (“Domain Policy”) governs the registration, renewal, transfer, management, and use of domain names purchased through Govaio Network (“Govaio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via https://www.govaio.com.
By registering, transferring, or renewing a domain name through Govaio, you agree to this Domain Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, and Refund Policy.
1.1 Govaio acts as a domain reseller or service provider for domain name registrations.
1.2 Domain services are governed by:
ICANN policies
Registry-specific rules
Registrar agreements
This Domain Policy
1.3 Govaio does not own customer domains unless explicitly stated.
Domain availability is checked in real time.
Availability does not guarantee successful registration.
Customers must provide accurate registrant information.
A domain is considered registered only after:
Full payment is received
Registry confirms successful registration
Failed registrations due to registry errors may be refunded or credited at Govaio’s discretion.
3.1 The customer listed as the Registrant is the legal owner of the domain.
3.2 Customers are responsible for:
Managing WHOIS details
DNS configuration
Domain security (locks, authorization codes)
3.3 Govaio is not responsible for:
Domain misuse
Third-party disputes
Loss due to customer error
4.1 Accurate WHOIS information is mandatory.
4.2 Providing false or misleading information may result in:
Domain suspension
Cancellation
Deletion without refund
4.3 Customers must update registrant data promptly.
5.1 Domains must be renewed before expiration.
5.2 Govaio may send renewal reminders, but:
Customers are solely responsible for renewals.
5.3 Failure to renew may result in:
Domain suspension
Redemption fees
Permanent loss of domain
5.4 Renewals are non-refundable.
6.1 Expired domains may enter:
Grace Period
Redemption Period
Pending Delete
6.2 Redemption fees are set by the registry and are non-refundable.
6.3 Govaio does not guarantee domain recovery after expiration.
Domains must be unlocked
Authorization (EPP) code required
Transfer completion depends on registry

No outstanding disputes or abuse
Transfer may be denied per ICANN rules
Transfers are non-refundable.

Court orders

9.2 Govaio will comply with:
UDRP decisions
Legal notices

9.3 Customers are responsible for dispute costs.
10.1 Domains may be suspended or cancelled for:
Non-payment
Policy violations
False WHOIS data
Legal orders
Abuse complaints
10.2 Suspended domains may stop resolving.
10.3 No refunds for suspended or terminated domains.
11.1 Customers are responsible for:
Domain locking
Protecting authorization codes
Preventing unauthorized transfers
11.2 Govaio is not liable for domain hijacking caused by customer negligence.
12.1 WHOIS privacy services may be offered.
12.2 Privacy may be disabled if:
Required by law
Requested by registry
Abuse investigations require disclosure
Domains may not be used for:
Illegal activities
Spam
Phishing
Malware
Fraud
Trademark infringement
Violation may result in immediate suspension.
Govaio is not liable for:
Domain loss due to expiration
Registry actions
Third-party disputes
DNS misconfiguration
Govaio may modify this Domain Policy at any time.
Changes take effect upon publication.
This Domain Policy is governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
